In support of the Government's mandate in assisting the development of small sized businesses, Cabinet has approved that the Tax Invoice Monitoring System (TIMS) will not apply to businesses with an annual turnover of less than SAT$200,000 tala.

Accordingly, a new category of selected taxpayers below the $200,000 Tala threshold will be monitored under a probationary period and should they meet the threshold in the near future, these businesses determined by the Ministry of Customs & Revenue will be announced and required to register for TIMS.

Furthermore, ALL TAXPAYERS previously selected to register and comply with TIMS as having been confirmed to exceed the $200,000 tala threshold, but have yet to complete registration are advised to fully comply with the conditions and requirements by the 1st July 2022.
